August 13 2010 It may be Friday the 13th, but it was an awesome day for the Rocky Ridge kids! Boomer's son Ramsay was awarded Winners Dog, Boomer won BEST of BREED, and Zorro earned an Award of Merit and Best Veteran in Sweeps!
August 2010 Comet finishes her championship at the Canfield shows, and earns a Select Bitch and Best Opp as a move-up.
July 2010 Boomer earns his Grand Champion title!
April 2010 Rocky Ridge had a fantastic week at the Cardigan National Specialty! Zorro was awarded Best in Veteran Sweepstakes, and placed second in the regular Veterans class (coming in second to the wonderful Kingsbury's I'm Harry P, who went on to win Best of Breed!). An interesting note to this win....back in 2001, at our very first National Specialy, Zorro and Harry P competed in the same puppy sweeps class, and came in 1-2 then!
Ryder won 3rd in his sweeps class and second in his regular class, and Comet was 2nd in both sweeps and regular class.

8/09 We had a great time at the CWCCWR specialties. Zorro was awarded several first place ribbons in his Veterans/Veterans sweeps classes, and was Best Veteran in Sweepstakes on Saturday. Boomer won his sweeps class each day, and on Saturday he was Best Opp Sex in Puppy Sweeps. Ryder placed in all his classes every day.
8/2/09 Boomer is awarded Best of Breed at Canfield over an entry of 20 Cardigans, several of them ranked in the top 10!!
7/31/09 Boomer finishes his Championship today, in the rain and mud at Canfield!
7/18/09 Boomer is awarded Best of Breed, and GROUP THREE, at just one year of age. Go Boomer!
7/11/09 Boomer again wins Best Puppy at the Madison Ohio shows, and ANOTHER Puppy Group ONE!!! Wow!!
7/10/09 Boomer is WD and BOW again for a major, from breeder judge Leah James at the Madison Ohio shows.. He also was awarded Best Puppy, and went on to a Puppy Group ONE!!!
6/14/09 Boomer continues on his winning ways. He remains undefeated, and was awarded a Puppy Group 2 at the Echo Hills Kennel Club show this weekend!
5/2009 Cosmos is our performance star! She recently earned her Rally Excellent title, and TWO agility titles. She is officially known as Rocky Ridge's Heavenly Spice RE OAJ!!! Go Sarah and Cosmos!
5/24/09 Boomer is well on his way to his Championship. Shown only 5 times so far in all breed shows, he has been awarded Winner's Dog and Best of Winner's at each show. We are so proud of this young dog!
4/2009 News from the National Specialty.... Zorro won both his Veterans classes (sweeps and regular Veterans). Boomer showed beautifully in his puppy classes (it was only his second time in a show ring) and made the cut in his sweeps class from 22 dogs down to the final 8. Philip handled "Ricky Bobby", Ch. Coldstream Peach Taledega Nites, to an Award of Merit!
3/29/09 Boomer comes home with his first points towards his Championship. At the Western Pennsylvania Kennel Association show today, he was awarded Winner's Dog and Best of Winners for two points. This was his very first show, and we are so proud of him. He was a wonderful breed ambassador at the show, meeting and greeting everyone who came up to him while he was shopping for a new toy.
3/21/09 Boomer wins Best in Match at the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of the Western Reserve spring match. Little Comet was Best Opposite!

9/30/2008 Boomer has joined the Rocky Ridge family! It's great fun having a puppy in the house again!
8/2/2008 Kodiak is now an AKC Champion! He was awarded Winner's Dog at 7 of his last 9 shows, and picked up his last major at the Canfield shows. He was shown exclusively in the Bred By Exhibitor class by Philip.
7/2008 Kodiak is having a great time in the show ring this summer. He has earned 7 points towards his championship, including one major.
4/2008 Link, a Brandy x Simon son, earned his CGC, and is now training in Rally.
4/2008 We had a great time at the Cardigan National Specialty, and the Rocky Ridge crew made us proud! Zorro won two second place ribbons in his Veterans classes, Cosmos completed her Rally Novice title, and Cruz won 4th place in the 12-18 month class. Our handsome boy Evan won 2nd place in Open.

11/12/07 Carson has moved to Connecticut, to make his forever home with Suzy and two English Cocker girls. He's a lucky boy! Carson has been renamed "Jake".
11/11/07 Ziggy, now known as "Ruari" has moved to his forever home with Kim and Bob and "Angus". Angus and Rory are half brothers, they are both Simon sons. We are so happy to have found such a terrific home for our sweet Ziggy.
